Henley Students from Health Occupations and Engineering are collaborating on an inspiring initiative: Go Baby Go., designing and modifying ride-on cars, using their skills to adapt steering, seating, and controls. Sky Lakes Physical Therapy team is happy to lend their expertise in body mechanics and positioning to help students better understand how to properly support each child’s unique mobility challenges. Each year, Sky Lakes is honored to receive a generous donation from SJS Awareness Oregon, supporting our Pediatrics Department and the care of our youngest patients. Stevens-Johnson Syndrome (SJS) is a rare but serious condition, often triggered by medication reactions, requiring urgent and specialized care. We are deeply grateful for SJS Awareness Oregon’s ongoing partnership and their commitment to raising awareness and supporting families in our community. #CommunitySupport #PediatricCare #SJSawareness

Perseverance takes more than strength. It takes people. After surviving strokes, Dale and Jenna each faced an isolating road to recovery, until they and others helped launch the Sky Lakes Stroke Survivors Group, a place for healing, connection, and hope. Today, it’s more than a monthly meeting. It’s a lifeline. Watch their story and see what happens when a community comes together to rise. https://ow.ly/Cg5150YkINB

For many that have experienced a traumatic heart issue, it came as a surprise. We tend to take our hearts for granted until it sends a flare; a vise-grip squeeze in the chest and a foggy wave of unease that lands you in the ER. What may have felt like a sudden problem had likely been progressively worsening over time. The body can compensate for heart issues very well, until it can’t. https://ow.ly/VW8750Yl8hX

For Melissa, growing up outdoors shaped everything, from how she moved to how she thought. Now, she’s watching those same lessons take root in her daughter Elizabeth. Fresh air, big climbs, open trails, Klamath offers families more than a view. It gives them space to grow. When kids are raised outdoors, confidence grows, curiosity deepens, and a love for movement turns into a lifelong engine for wellness. Watch how one local family’s journey took them from casual rides to national competitions—and how the Klamath trail system helped them ride stronger, together.

If sleep came in a bottle, it would be the most prescribed medication. Sleep affects everything from weight gain to memory, yet millions of people sacrifice it for work, entertainment, or endless social media “doom-scrolling.” https://ow.ly/6ZGS50Yl7VJ
