We are seeking a strong general ledger accountant to support core accounting operations within a life sciences / health sciences manufacturing environment. This role will contribute across close, reconciliations, and operational accounting while partnering with cross‑functional teams as the organization continues to grow.
This position is well suited for an accountant who enjoys owning their work, learning new areas of the business, and operating in a regulated but evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, inventory, and other operational transactions
Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities, with ownership of assigned areas as experience allows
Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate variances
Assist with inventory and manufacturing‑related accounting, including COGS and production activity
Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and other internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting
Support preparation of internal financial reports and audit schedules
Maintain accounting documentation aligned with GAAP and company policies
Contribute to process improvements as systems and workflows evolve
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
2+ years of accounting experience (industry or public accounting)
Solid understanding of general ledger accounting and GAAP
Experience supporting month‑end close and account reconciliations
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail with a practical, problem‑solving mindset
Comfort working in a collaborative, cross‑functional environment
