Acounts Payable Manager

Ledgent Accounting & Finance is partnering with an organization seeking a hands-on Accounts Payable Manager to lead their AP team. This role is ideal for a detail‑driven leader who thrives in high-volume environments and enjoys improving processes. You will be the go-to for any and everything AP!

Hybrid - $80,000-$85,000

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full-cycle AP across multiple entities and bank accounts
• Oversee high-volume invoice processing, coding, and compliance
• Manage weekly payment runs (ACH, wires, checks)
• Resolve vendor issues and research discrepancies
• Maintain AP aging, vendor records, W‑9/1099 compliance
• Support audits, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Prepare cash forecasts, accruals, and AP metrics/KPIs
• Implement AP automation and process improvements
• Manage, train, and develop AP team members

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years AP management experience in a high-volume environment
• Advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
• Strong communication and cross-department collaboration skills
• Experience with multi-entity AP and multiple systems
