What you’ll do

• Design and implement AWS cloud architectures that meet business requirements and align with best practices.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend AWS services and tools to enhance the performance, security, and cost-efficiency of our cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain cloud architecture documentation, including diagrams, standards, and guidelines.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resource utilization to ensure cost-effectiveness and performance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members and stakeholders on AWS cloud technologies.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements in all cloud deployments.
• Stay up to date with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices.
  
  

What’s Required

You should have a deep understanding of AWS services and architecture with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions. Specifically, you should have:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and design, with a focus on AWS
• Strong proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and identity management in AWS
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or equivalent certification
• Commitment to the highest ethical standards

The annual base salary range for this role is $200,000-$250,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.
