They are seeking a Controller to join their leadership team in Vermont to oversee the comprehensive financial health of the organization. The ideal candidate should have the following:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a closely related financial concentration from an accredited institution
• Extensive professional experience in senior-level accounting roles with a proven track record as a Controller or Finance Director
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume financial operations for businesses with annual capital flows exceeding $100 million
• A deep understanding of GAAP compliance and the implementation of rigorous internal financial controls across a large organization
• Proven experience in overseeing complex cash flow management and comprehensive year-end audit processes
• Strong analytical skills to translate intricate financial data into actionable strategic insights for executive leadership
• The ability to manage and mentor a dedicated accounting team while maintaining a high standard of precision and accuracy
• Excellent communication skills for presenting detailed financial reports to stakeholders and external partners
• An active CPA or CMA certification is considered a significant advantage for this senior leadership position
• A self-motivated and detail-oriented approach to managing a sophisticated corporate ledger in a fast-paced environment
