Must Haves On The Resume

  • Software tools experience with Articulate 360 products including Rise and Storyline so they can use client templates in these software;
  • rapid-e-learning development experience;
  • excellent written and verbal communications;
  • experience working with other life sciences companies (science background highly preferred)

Overview

Job Description:

  • Reporting to the Sr Manager, Education Services, the Digital Learning Developer (DLD) is responsible for creating online learning materials for internal associates and external customers.
  • The DLD interacts directly with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to design and build innovative and engaging eLearning training courses for delivery in the learning management system (LMS).

Key Responsibilities

  • Designs and develops innovative and engaging eLearning to meet learning objectives for product training programs
  • Develops scripts, storyboards, videos, and audio files in line with business requirements and client branding guidelines.
  • Works collaboratively with SMEs to obtain requirements and details needed for creation and testing of training contents
  • Develops interactive content using authoring software such as Articulate 360, Camtasia, Adobe Premier
  • Set up and test eLearning courses in the LMS and assign to users as instructed
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required.

Key Success Metrics

  • On-time completion of course development projects
  • High course ratings (eg 4 or greater out of 5 on a scale where 5 is the highest rating)

Minimum Qualifications

  • Effective organization and project planning skills.
  • Creativity in instructional design of courses to meet business and learner’s needs.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.

Education And Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with development of e-learning courses is required.
  • Degree or certifications in digital content creation educational programs, including experience with graphic design and video capture and editing
  • Experience with instructional design is highly preferred
  • Experience working with life sciences clients is highly preferred

  • As needed travel to and work at client in San Jose, CA.
