Executive Assistant to Co-Founder | High-Growth Startup
📍 Full-time, Onsite (NYC) | Quarterly travel to London
💰 $160K – $190K + competitive perks
About the Opportunity
We’re partnering with a highly successful, well-funded startup building at the forefront of AI and technology. With a small, elite team and strong momentum, this company operates at high velocity and is intentionally designed to keep decision-making tight and impactful.
They are seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to support the Co-Founder — a proven, thoughtful, and collaborative leader who previously built and scaled a category-defining company through IPO.
This is a rare opportunity to step into a true right-hand role — operating as a “second brain,” sitting in high-stakes conversations, and directly impacting how a founder spends time and drives the business forward.
The Role
This is not a traditional EA position. It’s a high-agency, high-impact partnership where you will:
Own and optimize the Co-Founder’s time, priorities, and focus
Act as a strategic partner across scheduling, communication, and execution
Join key meetings, track decisions, and ensure follow-through across the company
Build systems, workflows, and automations to increase efficiency and leverage
Manage communication across inbox, stakeholders, and internal teams
Coordinate complex travel (including quarterly international travel)
Ensure nothing falls through the cracks in a fast-moving environment
Help create a high-touch, thoughtful office experience for team members and guests
Who You Are
High agency: You take ownership instinctively and execute without waiting
Systems thinker: You build structure and process instead of relying on memory

Highly communicative: You proactively keep everyone aligned and informed
Tech-forward: You enjoy using AI tools, automation, and new technologies
Calm in chaos: You thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
Passionate about the EA craft: You’re looking for a long-term partnership, not a stepping stone
