Financial Controller

Pinnacle has been engaged to help a well-respected Greater Cleveland organization hire a Senior Director of Accounting.

Our client is going through a very exciting time implementing new technologies, including NetSuite, streamlining processes, and building out a stronger finance leadership team positioned for the future.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and/or review of financial reports
• Oversee and approve journal entries and bank reconciliations
• Review and manage accounts payable and receivable functions
• Lead and develop a team of directors and accounting staff
• Partner with senior leadership on financial strategy, budgeting, and forecasting
• Drive adoption and optimization of NetSuite across the finance function
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
• NetSuite experience is a big plus
• Proven leader who has managed and developed accounting teams
• Collaborative, curious, deadline-driven, and highly organized
• Someone who values stability and is looking to make a long-term impact

Compensation:

$130,000-$150,000 base (depending on experience)
