WHAT YOU’LL DO

We are seeking a Head of AI & Product to serve as the execution engine behind how we build, scale, and operate in the AI era.

This is a builder-first, high-ownership role.

You will work directly with the Founder and senior leadership team to turn ideas into real systems, products, and businesses rapidly and repeatedly. You will operate at the intersection of product, engineering, and AI, using modern tools to collapse timelines and unlock new capabilities across the platform.

Your mandate is to:

• Convert high-level ideas into working products in days and weeks, not months
• Design and deploy AI-powered systems that directly impact revenue, operations, and decision-making
• Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and broken workflows across the organization, and rapidly design and implement solutions that improve speed, accuracy, and leverage
• Build internal platforms and external products that scale across multiple companies and industries
• Replace manual workflows with intelligent systems that increase execution speed and reduce dependency on headcount
• Act as the technical and product counterpart to the Founder — translating vision into execution without friction

You will operate across a diverse portfolio including consumer products, real estate, hospitality, and new venture creation, building systems that are used in real environments, by real teams, at scale.

Your Mission

• Portfolio Systems Vision & Integration
• Design and implement a unified intelligence layer across the portfolio that connects data, systems, and workflows into a single, real-time operating backbone. Enable standardized metrics, AI-driven insights, and cross-company leverage to improve decision-making, efficiency, and performance at scale.
• 0→1 Product Build
• Rapidly prototype and ship products using AI-assisted development, writing production-level code across backend, APIs, and front-end/mobile layers. Own system design, data models, and deployment from initial concept through live production and iteration.
• AI-Native Development
• Use tools like Claude, Cursor, and modern APIs as core development infrastructure. Structure prompts, generate code, review outputs, debug issues, and refine implementations — treating AI as a junior engineer that you direct and validate.
• System Architecture
• Design and implement scalable, modular systems across backend services, APIs, databases, and client applications. Make pragmatic decisions around frameworks, infrastructure, and data flow to balance speed, reliability, and long-term flexibility.
• Team leadership
• Build and lead small, high-output engineering teams — setting technical direction, establishing development standards, and driving execution cadence. Recruit, mentor, and lead while maintaining hands-on contribution. Create a culture of speed, accountability, and continuous iteration, ensuring the team can consistently take products from concept to scalable, production-ready systems.
• New Business Start Up / Venture Studio:
• Lead rapid concept-to-launch execution of new ventures, turning ideas into validated, revenue-generating products through fast iteration and AI-assisted development. Build a repeatable system for prototyping, testing, and scaling multiple products in parallel with disciplined speed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Architect and personally build AI-driven products and internal systems from concept through production, owning design, data models, and implementation end-to-end
• Build and lead a small, high-performing engineering team, setting technical direction, reviewing code, and ensuring consistent velocity and quality. Operate as a player-coach — staying hands-on in critical builds while recruiting, mentoring, and scaling talent to support rapid product and system development.
• Develop backend services, APIs, and web/mobile applications with a focus on speed, scalability, and pragmatic architecture decisions
• Own the full build of an AI-powered field sales platform supporting 300+ reps, including CRM, mobile workflows, GPS tracking, routing, order management, and real-time dashboards
• Design and deploy platforms that enhance human performance, decision-making, and adaptability through continuous feedback and intelligent intervention
• Develop forward-looking technology strategies and infrastructure that position the organization to anticipate and adapt to major technological shifts
• Prototype and launch next-generation, AI-native products that push the boundary of how users interact with technology and data
• Create secure, resilient systems designed to operate in high-risk or rapidly changing environments, ensuring continuity and control under uncertainty
• Establish repeatable frameworks for rapidly incubating, testing, and scaling new businesses from concept to market
• Integrate AI capabilities (LLMs, voice agents, automation systems) directly into production workflows that drive measurable business outcomes, not just prototypes
• Design and implement data models, pipelines, and infrastructure that enable real-time visibility, analytics, and intelligent decision-making across systems
• Continuously iterate on systems based on real-world usage, rapidly translating feedback and performance data into product improvements
• Identify and execute on high-leverage opportunities to automate workflows, reduce manual effort, and increase operational speed and efficiency
• Recruit, evaluate, and guide developers as needed, setting technical direction while remaining hands-on in critical areas of the build
• Establish and maintain system reliability, performance, and scalability, including monitoring, logging, and infrastructure optimization as usage grows

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• 8–15+ years of hands-on experience building and shipping software products, with a proven track record of taking systems from concept to real users and measurable outcomes (not just contributing to parts or managing teams)
• Strong full-stack capability with the ability to design system architecture and personally build backend services, APIs, and functional web/mobile applications; able to make pragmatic tradeoffs between speed, scalability, and maintainability
• Deep, hands-on experience and passion for using AI tools (Claude, Cursor, OpenAI, etc.) as part of your daily workflow, including structuring prompts, iterating on outputs, validating code, and integrating AI into real production systems
• Experience operating in fast-paced, founder-led or 0→1 environments where priorities shift, resources are constrained, and speed of execution is critical
• Ability to operate across multiple concurrent projects, maintaining clarity on priorities while driving forward execution without becoming a bottleneck
• Strong product intuition and decision-making ability; you can quickly identify what matters most, sequence work effectively, and avoid unnecessary complexity
• High comfort with ambiguity and incomplete information; you make decisions, take action, and refine through iteration rather than waiting for perfect direction
• Demonstrated ability to take complex, messy problems and translate them into simple, scalable, and executable technical solutions that deliver real business impact
