We are looking for a Junior Analytics Engineer to join our Sales Operations & Analytics team within Commercial Operations. In this role, you will help build and maintain the data infrastructure that powers business decisions across the organization, from pipeline development and data transformation through semantic modeling and reporting in Power BI.
You will work closely with the Manager of Sales Operations & Analytics to transform raw data into reliable, well-documented datasets that support commercial leadership, sales teams, and cross-functional stakeholders. This is a high-growth opportunity for someone early in their data career who wants hands-on experience with modern data engineering practices in a pharmaceutical environment.
What You'll Do
Write and maintain SQL views and transformations to move data through our medallion architecture (Bronze → Silver → Gold) within Microsoft Fabric
Build and maintain Power Query (M) dataflows for ingesting and transforming data from internal and third-party sources
Support the development of Power BI semantic models, including writing DAX measures for sales performance, territory analytics, and prescriber-level reporting

Help maintain dimensional models with proper surrogate keys, fact/dimension relationships, and business logic
Document data models, transformation logic, and business rules to support team knowledge sharing
Contribute to data quality monitoring, validation, and issue resolution
Support version-controlled development workflows using Git and PBIP format

1–3 years of experience in a data-focused role (analyst, data engineer, BI developer, or similar)
Strong SQL proficiency — you should be comfortable writing queries, joins, aggregations, and window functions
Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools and frameworks quickly

Attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving
Preferred:

Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
Pharmaceutical, life sciences, or healthcare industry experience
Microsoft certifications such as DP-600 (Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate), PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst), or DP-900 (Azure Data Fundamentals)
