We are looking for a skilled Litigation Attorney to join our team in Tallahassee, Florida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation and a proven ability to handle complex legal matters effectively. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on challenging cases and collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals. Ideal candidate will demonstrate strong writing and analytical skills and have experience with First-Party property claims and insurance coverage defense. Responsibilities:
• Manage first-party property claims and provide legal expertise in insurance coverage matters.
• Prepare and defend depositions for experts, fact witnesses, and involved parties.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and assist in trial preparation.
• Address liability claims with strategic legal approaches.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents with precision and attention to detail.
• Ensure compliance with billing practices and reporting standards.
• Collaborate with clients to provide regular updates and maintain effective communication.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies.
• Analyze complex litigation issues and develop innovative solutions to resolve disputes.
• Must hold a valid license and be in good standing with the Florida Bar. • A minimum of 2 years of experience in civil litigation and insurance defense. • Strong academic credentials and a solid foundation in legal principles. • Proficiency in drafting motions, pleadings, and discovery documents. • Familiarity with billing practices and adherence to reporting guidelines. • Excellent analytical and writing skills to craft compelling legal arguments. • Experience managing complex litigation cases, including first-party property matters. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
