Basic Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of logistics experience and may have a post-secondary degree or training in a related discipline.
  • Multifunctional Program Experience –  Experience leading program or project planning activities and documenting organizational/resource plans, logistics coordination, and configuration‑management tasks.
  • Stakeholder & Customer‑Service Leadership –  Demonstrated track record of partnering with key internal and external stakeholders to achieve program milestones.
  • Advanced logistics management/analyst skills are required in order to perform operations related to inventory control, demand forecasting, and requisitioning & procurement functions.
  • Expertise in logistic disciplines associated with commercial and government shipping & receiving functions, and warehouse management philosophies is essential.

Selected candidate will be part of the Fleet Repair Facility (FRF), Supply Chain, and Tech Support Team with a primary responsibility to support the Q-70 Depot at Lockheed Martin's RMS Virginia Beach, VA Operations facility. This position will be directly responsible managing the Q-70 inventory, Q-70 carcasses, GFE/GFM, international shipping, and process management. This position has a significant focus on the configuration, and functionality of Q-70 parts that support E2C, ARCI, ECDWS, Sonar, Aegis, SSDS, and other systems.

The roles and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Q-70 carcass management include timely induction into appropriate systems and creation/resolution of all Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDRs) (~35%).
  • Document, coordinate and optimize the Q70 Supply Support warehouse activities, including overseeing the disposition and closeout of EOL material through DRMO (~20%).
  • Direct and monitor physical inventories including resolving inventories discrepancies within Lockheed Martin and USN inventory systems (~20%).
  • Support other activities within the Q-70 Supply Support group as directed (~10%).
  • Preparing inventory projections using modeling tool (~5%).
  • Assist in Supply Chain 1LMX transformation efforts (~10%).

  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills to help resolve issues and discrepancies as they arise, and demonstrate a professional work ethic.
  • Working knowledge of an automated inventory management system such as Customer Asset Visibility (CAV).
  • Experience using SAP, P2P, SharePoint, ECS, ESS, and Wide Area Flow (WAWF) programs.
  • Familiarization with Q-70 Navy-use parts (or similar systems), and Q-70 shipboard parts (or similar systems).
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities, while paying close attention to details.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient working with all of the Microsoft Office programs (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
