About The Role
The Manager of Training and Development in the Real Estate and Rental and Leasing industry is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive training programs that enhance employee skills and drive organizational growth. This role ensures that all staff members are equipped with the latest industry knowledge, compliance standards, and customer service techniques to excel in their roles. The manager collaborates with leadership to identify skill gaps and develop targeted learning initiatives that align with business objectives. They also evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through metrics and feedback, continuously refining content to maximize impact. Ultimately, this position plays a critical role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in training and development, preferably within the real estate or related industries.
- Proven experience designing and implementing effective training programs.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Master’s degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
- Certification in Training and Development (e.g., CPLP, CPTD).
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and e-learning authoring tools.
- Familiarity with real estate industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing training teams.
- Develop, coordinate, and deliver training programs tailored to various roles within the real estate and leasing sectors.
- Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and performance data analysis to create relevant learning solutions.
- Manage and mentor a team of training specialists and facilitators to ensure high-quality program delivery.
- Collaborate with department heads to align training initiatives with strategic business goals and compliance requirements.
- Monitor and report on training effectiveness, making data-driven recommendations for improvements.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to keep training content up to date.
- Oversee the administration of learning management systems and training budgets.
- Facilitate workshops, seminars, and e-learning sessions to engage employees at all levels.
The Manager of Training and Development utilizes strong communication skills daily to effectively convey complex information and engage diverse audiences. Analytical skills are essential for assessing training needs and measuring program success through data interpretation.
