Position Summary:

 

The Product Development Coordinator is a key cross-functioning team member responsible for tracking all development sample deliverables across RTW, Swim, Occasion, Denim, and Accessory categories and assist in coordinating development trims for Proto and SMS.  Daily tasks include but not limited to daily communication with overseas partners to track all Proto and SMS, support department weekly and monthly objectives, support trim development, support production hand-off materials by organizing and requesting all required submits and documents, BOM maintenance, and invoice tracking. Organizational skills are a must, with the enthusiasm to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced work environment. 


Daily Functions: 


-           Daily factory communication with overseas partners and trim vendors

-           Own and maintain Proto and SMS WIP charts to accurately capture delivery dates

-           Receive, process, and submit development invoices for approval for all samples and trims

-           Log and track all incoming development packages in partnership with Production and Tech Design Teams to ensure all materials reach the correct partners

-           Record all sample receiving/sending, partner with seasonal interns to organize unpack, hang, prep, and organize all sample racks in preparation for key milestone meetings.

-           Printing linesheets, cost charts, and other major documents in preparation for key milestone meetings through the course of each development season and Production Hand-offs at the end of each season.

-           Set up and create style number templates at the start of each season

-           Execute BOMs and Techpacks for Repeat / Carry-Over styles in conjunction with manager, and Design and Tech Design teams

-           Assist data entry in the Design Manager function of RLM

-           Support RLM Market Linesheet creation for all divisions

-           Maintenance of nominated and factory sourced trim library

-           Partner with Design on trim requests, partner with PD Director on trim countersourcing requests as needed


Required Skills:

-           Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Adobe Acrobat

-           Experience with PLM or RLM is a plus
