Plant Controller

LHH is hiring a Controller on behalf of our client. This is a key role in the organization owning all of the Accounting, Finance, and Costing for this large manufacturing location.

MANUFACTURING AND STANDARD COSTING ARE REQUIRED.

Controller - fully onsite with flexibility as needed

$180-230K

• 50% bonus +profit sharing

Open: Incumbent is leaving after 10 years with the company

Team: Oversee a team of 6-8, all professional, no clerical

Job includes:

• Monthly close, accruals, reconciliation, financial statements and oversight of the day to day accounting
• Standard Cost Accounting including ability to teach this to new team members and to do the work hands on sometimes; ability to quote pricing accurately while protecting margins.
• Budget, Forecasting, Financial Analysis
• Reporting on all areas of the business; partnership with Plant Leadership to improve performance across the business
• Provide GM with strategic and cost performance improvement support
• Quarterly presentation to President of the company; weekly calls with division President/GM – looking at working capital, throughput, KPIs, and various performance of the plant
• Hands on ability to do Analysis; Ability to do judgmentals on various accounting matters

We are looking for:

• BS in Accounting/Finance, CPA is nice to have
• 10+ years’ experience in Accounting, showing growth and advancement
• Must have Manufacturing industry experience, Plant focus experience highly preferred
• Must have Standard Costing experience
• Working knowledge of existing in a SOX environment
• Larger company experience is nice to have
