Brist Mfg. is seeking a hands-on apparel and accessories sourcing and production expert to manage our day-to-day international custom branded merchandise end-to-end workflows. This hybrid position (applicants must be able to commute to Denver, CO) navigates a high volume of skus and communicates with multiple factories to ensure product concept ideation through to final garment delivery processes are executed within planned timelines to meet our customer expectations. To be considered for this position you must have experience managing product development and production in a fast paced, deadline driven work environment. We require a bachelor's degree (apparel design/merchandising preferred), 3+ years’ experience in an international production/sourcing role and use/knowledge of ERP operating systems.

JOB SUMMARY
The Production Manager oversees end-to-end supply chain processes and accuracies in the development of custom products from concept ideation to final product delivery. The Production Manager plays a key role in driving innovation, quality, and efficiency in our apparel manufacturing processes.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage product life cycle from concept ideation to final garment delivery through:
Executing and delivering on all key T&A dates and development deadlines (protos, fits, commit dates, production start dates, delivery dates.)
Analyzing costing and final price negotiations.
Reviewing samples from concept to TOP approval.
Partnering cross-functionally for garment construction, design and color reviews, and final approvals before production.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Design, Production Art, Sales, QC, Logistics) to achieve production milestones, and margin goals, and to resolve issues as they arise.
Managing the Purchase Order process to ensure the product is ordered, produced, and shipped on time.
Support sourcing strategy and own daily vendor management by:
Communicating with and managing factory relationships, capacity planning, forecasting, and seasonal projections.
Onboarding new vendors to Brist requirements at each stage of development, production, packing, and shipping.
Working on vendor allocation for all new product development.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of issues affecting sourcing strategy: FTAs, tariff changes, country/region instability, and other social/political issues.
Supports Brist Mfg. corporate and teams by:
Preparing for and participating in regularly scheduled operational meetings. Provide critical reporting, advising the VP of Operations and key stakeholders of supply chain issues, delays, communicating status throughout the organization.
Participating in initiatives that improve project tracking and workflow within the organization.
Collaborating with accounting and support staff to process, verify, and reconcile supplier accounts, invoices, fund transfers, and payment of goods.
Working closely with suppliers, logistics, sales, and design teams to meet client demand and special requests.
Performing other related and applicable duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Demonstrated industry knowledge and experience processing or managing a high volume of custom apparel/headwear skus, working directly with overseas factories.
A minimum of 3+ years of experience working with client project specifications, ensuring tech packs, samples and pre-production approvals meet customer expectations.
Bachelor's Degree. Apparel design and merchandising or applicable degree.
Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Excel.
ERP and project management software experience (NetSuite preferred).
