Quality Engineer

About the Job

This role is responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of quality assurance systems and processes across manufacturing and operational functions. The ideal candidate will partner closely with engineering, operations, and leadership teams to ensure products and processes meet internal quality standards as well as customer and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead problem identification, root cause analysis, corrective actions, loss reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Design, implement, and maintain methods for process control, process improvement, testing, and inspection
• Develop, execute, analyze, and present quality metrics and reporting to support business and operational decisions
• Utilize statistical and quality tools to monitor performance, identify trends, and reduce variation
• Support internal and external quality audits, including preparation, execution, and follow‑up on corrective actions
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and operations teams to improve product and process quality
• Assist with documentation, standard operating procedures, and quality system maintenance as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or a related Engineering discipline
• 3+ years of experience in a quality, manufacturing, or industrial environment
• Strong working knowledge of common quality tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, root cause analysis, continuous improvement techniques)
• Experience analyzing data and translating findings into actionable improvements
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to communicate effectively across technical and non‑technical teams

Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000
