Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Engineer to join a manufacturing organization focused on producing high-quality stamped, formed, and machined components. This role is responsible for maintaining and improving quality systems, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, and partnering cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

The Quality Engineer will play a key role in audits, customer interactions, root cause analysis, and process optimization to ensure products meet internal and customer quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems aligned with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001 standards

• Conduct internal quality audits and support external audits, including preparation of documentation and reports

• Perform quality inspections and quality control checks throughout the production lifecycle

• Lead root cause analysis for quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions

• Analyze customer product specifications and quality requirements

• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and leadership teams to improve processes and product quality

• Analyze quality data and trends to identify risks and opportunities for improvement

• Interact directly with customers to address quality concerns and gather feedback

• Support PPAP activities as required

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, compliance, and manufacturing efficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required

• 1 to 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the stamping industry

• Experience with stamped, formed, and machined products preferred

• Prior supervisory or management experience preferred

• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, coatings, and product markings

• PPAP experience desirable

• ERP system experience preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, self-directed environment

• Strong time management skills with the ability to communicate clearly with customers and internal teams

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000 per year.

Any future bonus eligibility, if offered, would be discretionary and based on company and/or individual performance.
