About Tikvah:

Tikvah is a leading Jewish think tank and educational institution committed to supporting the rising generation of intellectual, religious, and political leaders of the Jewish people and the Jewish state. Tikvah runs a wide range of initiatives in America and Israel including educational programs, publications, and fellowships.

Tikvah’s Lobel Center for Jewish Classical Education is an educational initiative focused on K–12 curriculum development, teacher formation, school partnerships, and intellectual outreach. Joining at this stage offers the rare opportunity to help shape a growing initiative at a formative moment and to contribute meaningfully to work that seeks to influence classrooms, educators, and communities.

About the Role:

The Salesforce Administrator will help scope, design, implement, and continually refine the systems and processes that enable the Lobel Center’s four major initiatives to operate effectively and scale.

This role requires a professional who can engage program leaders in discovery, identify gaps or inefficiencies, surface edge cases, and translate evolving business needs into clear, durable system architecture. Success in this role requires comfort making informed recommendations and balancing responsive user support with proactive system design and long-term operational improvement. While the primary focus will be the Lobel Center, this position operates within a collaborative team environment and may contribute to cross-divisional Salesforce initiatives as organizational priorities evolve.

Key Responsibilities Include:

User Support & Operational Maintenance

  • Provide daily Salesforce user support, including responding to questions and resolving routine issues.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and assist staff with standard system requests.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards to support operational visibility.

Advanced Troubleshooting & System Reliability

  • Investigate and resolve complex system issues, including workflow, automation, and data discrepancies.
  • Manage and monitor integrations to ensure consistent performance and accurate data flow.
  • Proactively safeguard data integrity through audits, validation rules, and quality control measures.

Solution Design & System Development

  • Partner with Lobel Center leadership to clarify business requirements and recommend practical Salesforce-based solutions.
  • Design and configure scalable objects, fields, automations, and reporting structures that support evolving programmatic needs.
  • Contribute to system design decisions within established organizational architecture and governance standards.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain webforms and integrations (e.g., FormAssembly) to capture and sync data efficiently.
  • Assist with user training to ensure smooth adoption of Salesforce tools and processes.

Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Administrator certification.
  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator, preferably in a nonprofit or fundraising context.
  • Hands-on experience managing Salesforce configurations, reports, dashboards, flows, custom objects, and user permissions.
  • Experience with webform tools and integrations, such as FormAssembly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills: able to identify issues, recommend solutions, and implement improvements.
  • Self-motivated, mission-aligned, and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

The compensation range for this role is $80,000-$105,000, commensurate with experience and skill. Tikvah offers an excellent benefits package including health insurance, 401K plan, paid vacation, paid time off for Jewish and national holidays, and short Fridays.
