Solutions Engineer
Overview
A high-growth, venture-backed AI company is building a next-generation platform that enables organizations to design and deploy custom AI-driven workflows across their business. The product is already deeply embedded in day-to-day operations for a growing customer base and is scaling rapidly.
This is an opportunity to join at an early stage and play a key role in how enterprises adopt and operationalize generative AI.
The Role
This position sits at the intersection of sales, product, and engineering. You’ll act as a trusted technical advisor to prospective customers, helping them understand how to apply AI solutions to real business challenges.
You’ll lead technical engagements end-to-end, from discovery and tailored demonstrations through to pilot programs and successful deployment.
What You’ll Do
- Partner with go-to-market teams to communicate the value of a complex AI platform to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Deliver customized product demonstrations and technical presentations
- Work with customers to identify and scope high-impact use cases
- Configure and prototype AI-driven workflows to showcase real-world applications
- Own technical evaluations, including proof-of-concepts and pilot programs
- Support onboarding and guide customers through early adoption
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product and engineering, feeding back customer insights
- Develop expertise in API capabilities and best practices for working with generative AI systems
- Educate customers on how to effectively integrate AI into their workflows
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a customer-facing technical role (Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or similar)
- Strong track record of supporting complex software sales cycles
- Ability to deliver compelling demos and explain technical concepts clearly
- Solid understanding of APIs and modern software architectures
- Exposure to or interest in generative AI, LLMs, or automation tools
- Strong communication skills with both technical and business audiences
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, early-stage environments
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI/ML or generative AI technologies
- Familiarity with workflow automation, productivity tools, or knowledge platforms
- Basic coding ability to support demos or integrations
