We are looking for a SQL Server Database Administrator with data loading experience. Responsibilities include loading data, managing and monitoring existing configuration, and improving database performance.
Ideal candidates have a solid understanding of data loading and are proficient with SQL Server database administration.
They should also have experience with backup and recovery procedures, performance tuning and security.
Ultimately, this role will load data into SQL Server databases and perform SQL Server Database Administration duties.
Responsibilities:
Load data into databases
Install, upgrade, and manage database applications
Provide technical support for database environments, including testing and installation of DBMS upgrades
Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors
Perform database backups and recovery
Ensure data integrity and security
Maintain the data dictionary
Monitor database operations and performance to keep it running smoothly
Qualifications:
Proven work experience of Data loading into SQL Server databases
Excel experience a must
Experience as a Database administrator with SQL Server and Azure
Looking for two to four years of experience
Experience with PowerShell a plus
