Overall Responsibilities

The Sr. Manager, Supply Chain will provide strategic leadership and oversight of all supply chain operations in the United States, aligning regional execution with the global business strategy. This role will be accountable for driving service excellence, operational efficiency, and cost optimization across planning, procurement, logistics, and distribution.


The Sr. Manager of Supply Chain will act as a key member of the leadership team, influencing decision-making, shaping future capabilities, and ensuring that the supply chain function supports growth across all business segments.


Specific Key Responsibilities & Duties

Strategic Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of supply chain professionals (direct and “dotted-line” reports)
  • Build organizational capabilities to support future growth, including succession planning and leadership development within the function.
  • Integrate the Supply Chain functions

Executive Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary supply chain leader for the U.S. market, representing the function with senior executives, customers, and external partners.
  • Drive alignment between commercial objectives and supply chain capabilities to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Lead or sponsor critical cross-functional projects and transformation initiatives, positioning supply chain as a competitive advantage.

Integrated Business Planning:

  • Own the implementation, advancement, and governance of IBP processes for the U.S. market, ensuring seamless alignment with global practices.
  • Drive measurable improvements in forecast accuracy, inventory health, and customer fill rates.
  • Influence senior leadership through IBP reviews, linking operational outcomes to financial and strategic objectives.

Demand & Supply Planning

  • Lead the U.S. forecasting and demand planning process, ensuring collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to deliver an aligned demand plan.
  • Translate demand into a robust supply plan for the US business in partnership with Integrated Supply Planning , ensuring business continuity and optimal service levels.
  • Optimize allocation strategies across multiple channels and customer networks to balance service, cost, and working capital objectives.

Logistics, Distribution & Procurement Oversight:

  • Collaborate with Global Logistics and Distribution to Provide strategic direction to logistics and distribution partners to ensure best-in-class service, cost, and scalability across the U.S. market.

Systems, Technology & Innovation:

  • Partner with IT and Global Supply Chain to evaluate, recommend, and implement digital solutions that enhance visibility, decision-making, and operational efficiency in the US Business and Plant.
  • Leverage advanced analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools to enable smarter planning, forecasting, and execution.

Continuous Improvement & Financial Performance:

  • Establish and track KPIs for service, cost, and working capital; hold the organization accountable for results.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that reduce complexity, enhance speed, and generate sustainable cost savings.
  • Influence financial performance by managing budgets, identifying productivity opportunities, and delivering results that contribute to profitability.


Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements

  • University degree in Business, Operations or Engineering
  • Post Graduate Degree is an asset
  • Ten plus (10+) years leading and working in supply chain and operations roles
  • Experience implementing and leading IBP/S&OP processes
  • Solid demand, supply planning and scheduling experience
  • Exceptional analytic and financial analysis skills, ability to dig into detail without losing sight of the big picture
  • Excellent time management skills (ability to multitask and manage deadlines and multiple demands)
  • Exceptional skills in systems
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to multi-task with multiple deadlines and prioritize crucial deliverables
  • Capability of working with Corporate office and coordinating within different time zones
