The cloud migration and AI pivot #AWS is describing at #MWC is exactly what our #IAM teams are watching closely across the #CSP space. Autonomous networks sound like an infrastructure story. In our implementations, they are an identity story first. When you replace rigid legacy systems with dynamic, AI-orchestrated environments, the number of machine identities, service accounts, and API connections scales faster than most governance frameworks are built to handle. The revenue diversification play compounds this. When telcos move beyond connectivity into financial services, IoT platforms, or edge compute offerings, they are suddenly operating in regulatory environments like PCI DSS, DORA, and #NIS2, each with its own access control and audit requirements. The identity program that worked for a pipe business is rarely the right fit for a platform business. The organizations getting ahead of this are the ones treating identity architecture as part of the network modernization roadmap, not a security retrofit after go-live. That is where we spend a lot of our time with clients navigating exactly this transition. Appreciate AWS surfacing these trends publicly. The practitioners inside these CSPs need this conversation happening at the executive level.
