At Audible, we're building a future where technology amplifies human creativity. Our Global Head of Brand Content Marketing, James Finn, recently joined Elav Horwitz, WPP's Chief Innovation Officer at AI Summit New York to share what excites him most about AI. AI removes friction and clears the path, allowing for experimentation. It enables our teams to be more scrappy by iterating faster, trying new ideas, and creating work that matters.

Innovation is transforming the creative landscape, enabling creators to expand their reach, strengthen their voice, and share their vision more directly than ever before. With the rise of AI-driven tools and direct-to-audience platforms, traditional barriers are diminishing, creating new opportunities for meaningful engagement and impact. For authors, this evolution underscores the growing importance of thoughtful storytelling and the ability to connect with audiences in more authentic and scalable ways. I had the opportunity to contribute my perspective to this Forbes article, "Innovation Opens New Paths For Creators To Share Their Vision," which explores how innovation is empowering creators to take ownership of their work and build lasting connections beyond traditional pathways. Grateful to be part of this conversation and excited for what’s ahead for creators everywhere. I invite you to read the full article and explore the future of creativity and content creation. https://lnkd.in/gHyztZzx

One master asset. Infinite variations. This is the power of Creative Amplification. A few creatives are no longer enough. The challenge for global brands is not to produce more. AI already enables that. It is to scale while creating platform-native content that stops the scroll, without losing quality or brand consistency. This is where technology, AI, and human creativity come together. Connecting tech with creative expertise to scale content, while maintaining control and impact. Happy to share how we make this happen with our clients.

We’re entering an interesting phase of the AI era. Content is easier to create than ever. But trust is harder to earn than ever. People aren’t just consuming content anymore. They’re filtering for authenticity. They want: Real stories Real voices Real experiences The brands and leaders standing out right now aren’t the loudest. They’re the most human. This is why storytelling matters more than ever. Not polished perfection. Not generic messaging. But honest, relatable narratives that actually connect. Authenticity isn’t a trend. It’s becoming the competitive advantage.

AI didn't just make content cheaper. It made volume irrelevant as a competitive advantage. Any brand can now produce 50 videos a week. The only thing that compounds now is distribution, who sees it, when, and why they trust it. That's why the brands winning right now aren't out-creating everyone. They're out-distributing everyone. Right creator. Right signal. Right paid amplification behind it. That's the only playbook that matters in 2026. We build that system. 🌿

Your content team is drowning in briefs, revisions, and approval chains while your competitors are already three campaigns ahead. AI orchestration flips this script entirely. When workflows run themselves, your strategists stop being project managers and start being visionaries. The transformation is immediate: junior creators focus on ideation instead of formatting. Senior strategists build long-term narrative arcs instead of chasing deadlines. Creative directors shape brand evolution instead of fixing typos. This isn't about replacing humans. It's about unleashing human potential where it matters most.

The most dangerous thing happening in advertising right now isn’t AI replacing creative directors. Its clients are starting to believe that “AI” automatically means premium output at commodity prices. I see it everyday. They want sweeping cinematic visuals, rich art direction, emotional storytelling - the kind of work that used to cost crores and months of production. Then they hear “AI-first” and suddenly expect it for a fraction of the budget, delivered in weeks. What they don’t see is the part that still costs real money: the obsessive pre-production, the endless reference dives, the lighting breakdowns, the color arcs, the performance beats. The actual thinking. The tool is cheap. The taste isn’t.

Honestly, this surprised me. In an era dominated by AI, video content, and shrinking attention spans, an audio storytelling platform like Pocket FM crossing $400M ARR feels almost counterintuitive. You’d think with AI voice cloning and endless visual content, “radio-style” formats would fade. But the opposite is happening. What’s really interesting is that this isn’t traditional radio, it’s binge-worthy, on-demand storytelling powered by tech. AI is not replacing creators here; it’s enabling them to scale faster, test content, and reach global audiences. 300,000+ creators. 80,000+ hours of content every month. A first-time creator earning ~$50K in a month after gaining traction in the US. That’s not just growth that’s a shift. Feels like audio is quietly becoming one of the most scalable and accessible content formats of this decade. Maybe the real takeaway: AI doesn’t kill formats it reinvents them. Curious to hear did this surprise you too, or was this trend already on your radar? #pocketfm #audio #storytelling #creatoreconomy #ai #startups #content
