DataBank’s Post

Many organizations entered the cloud with a simple assumption. One platform. One environment. One long-term strategy. Today that assumption is being challenged. Rising cloud costs, changing licensing models, and increasing performance requirements are pushing IT leaders to rethink how infrastructure should be deployed and managed. Flexibility, cost predictability, and operational control are becoming executive-level priorities. Join our upcoming webinar to explore why choice has become the new enterprise cloud strategy and how organizations are supporting multiple infrastructure models to reduce risk and maintain control. 📅 April 23 🕒 12:00pm – 1:00pm EDT. The “one cloud to rule them all” idea worked for a while, but a lot of companies are realizing it was never a long-term strategy. Costs have climbed, licensing models keep shifting, and certain workloads simply don’t perform the way teams expected in a pure cloud environment. That’s pushing many IT leaders to rethink the model and look at a mix of cloud, colocation, and private infrastructure instead of relying on a single platform. The conversation is moving toward flexibility and control. Being able to place workloads where they actually make sense, financially and technically, is becoming more important than locking into one environment. This webinar should be a useful discussion for teams currently reassessing their cloud strategy.
