Excited to announce the latest Howler Cell Research - Our team launched an investigation into a string of undetectable (by VirusTotal Engines) Web Shells discovered by our Threat Hunters. The investigation led to a student in Bangladesh funding his college education via hacking (great online interviews included in the blog). These findings then led to discovering a significant freelance cybercriminal underground economy where local hackers sell compromised websites (often to Government agencies and prestigious universities) to Chinese threat actors for really cheap prices.
