    I’ve spent much of my career as the only woman in rooms full of loud men. The biggest thing I’ve learned? Confidence doesn’t come from volume. It doesn't come from speaking louder, moving faster, or trying to “match” the energy around me. It comes from self-trust. After 15+ years of leading teams and working with high performers, I’ve learned that confidence is a practice. 💽 10 Spokes of "The Confidence Wheel": 1️⃣ Keep Micro Promises Follow through on the small things you tell yourself you’ll do. Confidence grows through consistency. 2️⃣ Speak Kindly (to Yourself) You cannot bully yourself into belief (trust me, I've tried). Self-respect begins with internal tone. 3️⃣ Act Before You Feel Ready Confidence comes from action, not waiting for the perfect time. 4️⃣ Celebrate Proof, Not Perfection Track evidence that you are showing up, even imperfectly. 5️⃣ Ask Better “What Ifs” Shift from “What if I fail?” to “What if it works?!” Choose curiosity over fear. 6️⃣ Move Your Body, Shift Your State Confidence is physical as much as mental. Taking a short walk, poking your head outside, or making a posture shift can change your energy. 7️⃣ Clean Up Loose Ends Unfinished tasks quietly erode self-trust.     How can you boost your self-esteem? Here are 6 steps: 1.    Take your journal 2.    On the first empty page write this as a title: →    “Things I can’t control”. Now turn the page and write this as a title: →    “Things I can control”.       3.    Okay, now you have two blank pages with two titles, right?  Great! Now let’s focus on the first page. Let’s start with the things you can’t control in your life. Ask yourself this question: →    What things can’t I control in my life? Take all the time you need and make a list of things you can’t control. For example: ✖️   The mood of others ✖️   The behavior of others ✖️   If others believe in me ✖️   If others appreciate me ✖️   What others think of me ✖️   What others say about me ✖️   What others expect from me ✖️   If others have healthy values ✖️   If others accept my uniqueness ✖️   If others respect the environment Okay? Are you with me? You just need to list the things you know you can’t control. 4.    Now let’s turn the page. Oh, this page is gonna make us more responsible, right? “Uhm, what do you mean Matty?” Well, start by asking yourself this question: →    What things can I actually control in my life? As you’ve just done on the first page, list all the things you can control. For example: ✔️    Forgiving myself ✔️    Accepting myself ✔️    How I describe myself ✔️    Deciding to love myself ✔️    How I react to negativity ✔️    Taking care of my wellbeing ✔️    Being kind to myself and others ✔️    Getting away from negative people 5.    Okay! Now we have two full pages. Great lists, right? Now let’s focus again on the first page. “Uhm, the page with the things beyond my control, Matty?” Exactly, that one! What you need to do is this: →    Accept the fact you can’t influence those things. It makes no sense to focus on those things. We can’t control them, right? And guess what happens when we try to control them? “Uhm… well, we feel bad, Matty…” Exactly! So let’s stop focusing on those things. Instead, what we can do is… “Uhm, focusing on the things we can control?” Bingo! Let’s turn the page now. 6.    Great! This second page is rich in responsibility. And as we know, responsibility leads to happiness, right? So do this: →    Pick 3 of those things you can control →    Set a small goal to improve them For example, imagine you’ve picked this: ✔️    Accepting myself What you need to do is just set a small goal for that thing. For example: ✔️    For the next 30 days, I want to practice Gratitude Mindfulness every day at 6:30 AM, before breakfast. That’s it. This is how you can boost your self-esteem. As we know, the more challenges we win and celebrate, the higher our self-esteem. So, once achieved that goal, don’t forget to pat yourself on the back. Okay?     Alright, let's be real – sometimes it's easier to point fingers than look in the mirror. But here's the truth bomb: the biggest roadblocks to your success are probably coming from within. I've been there. We all have. It's those sneaky little voices of ego, pride, fear, neglect, inconsistency, and negativity that hold us back. But guess what? We don't have to let them win. Here's what I'm focusing on instead: ◾️Taming my ego: I'm learning to admit when I'm wrong, embrace humility, and actively seek out the wisdom of others. It's not about being perfect; it's about growing. ◾️Letting go of pride: Owning my mistakes and apologizing is tough, but it's incredibly freeing. True strength lies in vulnerability, not in pretending we have it all figured out. ◾️Facing my fears: I'm taking baby steps towards the things that scare me. It's not about being fearless but about taking action despite the fear. ◾️Prioritizing self-care: I'm making time for the things that nourish my mind and body because you can't give your best when you're running on empty. ◾️Embracing consistency: I'm building routines and habits that support my goals. It's the small, consistent actions that lead to lasting change. ◾️Challenging negative thoughts: I'm practicing positive self-talk and surrounding myself with supportive people. My mindset is everything. It's not always easy, but tackling these inner barriers is a game-changer. When we work on ourselves, we open up a world of possibilities.
