FFmpeg 3.3 Brings Native Opus Encoder, Support For Spherical Videos

FFmpeg developers quietly released FFmpeg 3.3 prior to the weekend as the first major feature release of 2017.

FFmpeg 3.3 introduces a native Opus encoder, an Apple Pixlet decoder, an Adobe Photoshop Document (PSD) decoder, VA-API acceleration for MPEG-2 and VP8 decoding, a number of new filters and (de)muxers, support for spherical videos, and a range of other changes.
