Android app crashing

Hi. For a week the app has been crashing constantly, to the point I can’t even get to open the app at all. It crashes immediately.
I’m on Galaxy S21 with Android 15 and OneUI 7.0App Version 8.9-rc-2I’ve tried restarting phone, clearing app cache, nothing works.

app is set to Unrestricted. There are no updates available, running latest version.
I don’t want to uninstall or reinstall because I’ll loose all my downloads (and who knows what else, like my playlists, subscriptions, etc.
any ideas? Thanks

Hi there, @maristiawp! Thanks for all the detail you’ve provided – this is really helpful.
The good news is that we’ve identified a bug affecting some users on the Android beta/RC builds that causes the app to crash immediately on launch, and a fix has already been developed.
The fix will be included in the next app release, so if you’re enrolled in the beta/RC track, it should reach you soon.
Let us know if you still have the same issue after the next update.
