"𝗪𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘄𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝗱 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆." Tamir Ronen CISO at HiBob, runs security for a cloud-native HR platform managing employee lifecycles globally. His team had tools for cloud security, SaaS monitoring, endpoint protection. But they didn't have a way to see how those tools connected. Each system showed individual risks yet none of them showed how those risks chained together into exploitable attack paths. Within hours of deploying Breeze, Tamir's team found their first connected risk: three low-severity misconfigurations that, when combined, created a path to critical employee data. "One of the first findings we resolved was a set of low-risk misconfigurations that, when combined, formed a potential attack path, clearly demonstrating the value of Breeze." In this interaction Alex Spivakovsky, VP Research and Cybersecurity at Pentera reflected on the mindset that shaped how he approaches defense today. Spivakovsky began his career on the offensive side of cybersecurity while serving in the Israel Defense Forces.   The biggest lesson from years of leading pentesting and red-teaming assessments is that most breaches don’t hinge on zero-days; hackers rely on far more common techniques such as misconfigurations, over-permissioned identities, and process gaps. It is imperative to see both sides of the equation, Spivakovsky says, as defenders build controls to manage risk, while attackers look for the seams between them. Pavel Gurvich, who helped start the cybersecurity company Guardicore, has raised $32 million for a brand-new startup called Tenzai. Gurvich is an experienced cybersecurity expert. Until recently, he worked as a top executive at Akamai, leading their research and enterprise security teams in Israel. We were pleased to design and deliver a dedicated, hands-on Cloud Security workshop led by CYBERPRO Israel for Discount Bank בנק דיסקונט, focusing on the real-world cybersecurity challenges of cloud environments within large financial organizations. The workshop was tailored specifically for Discount Bank’s cyber, information security, and IT teams, with an emphasis on regulation, risk management, and operating securely in multi-cloud and multi-service environments. Key topics included the shared responsibility model, identity and access management (IAM), Zero Trust, advanced monitoring and detection, segmentation, and secure cloud architecture. Throughout the day, we combined in-depth technical learning with live simulations of real cyber incidents, enabling participants not only to understand cloud threats but to experience, analyze, and respond to them in a controlled, practical setting aligned with their organizational reality.
