Earlier this week, I asked on my IG what people would like me to cover here. The largest interest by far was a very unanimous one: finances, investing, and real estate—which is how I built financial freedom for myself. So here we are, and I’m going to get straight to the point.

I was born to two twenty-year-old parents who very much got pregnant accidentally and were just trying to scrape by as they—children themselves—were figuring out their career paths in life, now with a child to support. My mother was a waitress at the time and went on to work in a food factory, then became an EMT and later a paramedic. My father was a ranch hand, butcher, and roper, who then went on to become an insurance agent. I watched my mom go on to buy several pieces of real-estate, serving as my first expander (as a single woman).

My mother instilled a very deep work ethic in me. My first jobs at 15 were cleaning my father’s best friend’s home and working as an attendant at their gas station. I personally continued on as a waitress, actress, post-production client services assistant, preschool teacher, and eventually an herbalist. I never made above poverty-line income until I launched my manifestation work. I am the first person from my immediate caretakers (family) to create total financial freedom from my gifts (and dreams).

I never, ever judged wealth growing up. I was always intrigued by it because the wealth that I witnessed growing up looked stable, secure, and free—three things that someone not growing up in wealth desires on a deep, core level. So I set out from a very young age to teach myself everything I could in finance from books, so that if I did ever come into any sort of income that wasn’t paycheck to paycheck (which you can still follow the list below and build wealth if you are), I’d know what to do with it. Well, that’s exactly what I’m going to share with you today: the step-by-step process of how I created total generational financial freedom. And funnily enough, now all I desire more than anything is utter simplification through the filtration of heirloom living in all aspects of my life—which is exactly what I’m doing.

True abundance is nature, connected and supportive community, love, nourishing food, and fulfillment through your authentic purpose(s)—which, shockingly, takes very little money. I’ve known many wealthy people who lack one—or many—of those things, and they don’t feel true abundance. Simply, money will not fill the void of any of them.

However, I know firsthand how hard it can be to feel present in those abundant things when the micro-trauma of fear around security is constantly looping in the background.

I tried to make the list below a quick, layman’s terms read—with links and a step-by-step process. If you’re a TBMer doing the Summer Money Challenge with us, you’ll super-speed the process below by expanding your abundance consciousness. That’s a whole different subject entirely—manifesting the career, job promotion, the bridge job (to get a little nest egg to begin taking the steps below more quickly), or dream purpose you’re calling in.
