Foundation
The St. Louis County Library Foundation was established in 1999 for the
purpose of supporting the St. Louis County Library District. It is a 501(c)(3)
organization, and donations to the Foundation are tax-deductible.
The Library Foundation generates resources and helps develop programs which
supplement and maximize the Library's operating funds to meet the reading, literacy and educational needs of the community.
The Foundation has supported and participated in a broad range of literary
programs including:
- Five new bookmobiles
- The popular 'Buzz' Westfall Favorite Author Series
- Castle Readalot at St. Louis County Library Headquarters
- Preschool Literacy Programs
- Annual Family Read night and more.

Friends of the Foundation features all new benefits and membership categories,
