Browser Connector arrives in Opera One and GX - in Early Bird. A common frustration when working with AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude is the need to constantly re-explain context all the time. Users move between tabs, acting like the person-in-the middle, gathering context and copy-pasting. With Browser Connector, now available in Opera One and Opera GX (Early Bird), that setup is no longer necessary. Users can now connect their browser directly to ChatGPT or Claude via Modal Context Protocol (MCP), allowing AI access to real-time browsing context. This means: - No more copy-pasting context between tabs and AI tools - Your AI can read your open tabs, pages, history and understand the context you're viewing - It can take screenshots when needed to interpret visuals or complex information - Users always stay in control, choosing what it can access The result is a more continuous workflow. Earlier this year we released the latest version of our flagship browser, Opera One R3, and today we’re bringing an update that expands on that. Opera One now has popular Google features: Gemini and Google Translate integrated right into the sidebar, giving users access to these services directly in their browser, without losing them in their tab bank. Users no longer need to open a separate tab to interact with Gemini. They now have an entire AI toolkit, including: Opera browser AI, Gemini, and ChatGPT, available alongside the page they’re already working on. Google Translate is now just one click away. Although Opera One already includes a built-in website translation feature, which is useful when translating entire websites, users can now write back, and remain in the same page with Google Translate in the sidebar.  Additionally, we’ve expanded Split Screen.
