Disaggregation was supposed to give us flexibility. It did. But it also multiplied complexity. Instead of a few large systems, we now manage: - Dozens - Hundreds - Sometimes thousands of components Across vendors. Across environments. Across layers. More flexibility → more moving parts More moving parts → more operational burden The challenge isn’t building the system anymore. It’s managing it at scale.

About us
As infrastructure becomes more disaggregated, multi-vendor, and software-defined, the real challenge is no longer deployment — it’s managing complexity at scale. At Ubicity, we believe the answer is universal automation: a model-driven, standards-based approach that spans cloud, data center, and edge, and manages the full lifecycle of services. Our platform helps organizations reduce operational overhead, improve reliability, and avoid vendor lock-in.

“Orchestration” used to be the answer. Today, it’s only part of the solution. Most orchestration focuses on: ➡️ Deploying workloads ➡️ Coordinating steps But real-world environments need more: - Continuous updates - Drift management - Cross-domain coordination - Lifecycle control Orchestration solves Day 0. It doesn’t solve Day 2. We need to think bigger. That’s where the idea of universal automation comes in.

We mapped the biggest challenges we see in modern infrastructure. Not just deployment — but what happens after. From fragmented tooling to disaggregation to rising operational cost It all points to one thing: Complexity is increasing faster than our ability to manage it. That’s why we’ve been thinking about a different approach: universal automation Here’s how we break it down 👇 Which of these challenges resonates most with you?

Most organizations don’t have an automation strategy. They have a collection of tools. One for infrastructure. One for containers. One for configuration. One for networking. Think: Kubernetes Terraform Ansible Each solves part of the problem. None solve the whole. The result? Fragmentation. Integration overhead. Operational complexity. At scale, the tools become the problem. Does this sound familiar in your environment? #orchestration #ubicity #UniversalAutomation #tosca

Deployment is easy. Operations is where the cost explodes. Most teams have gotten pretty good at automating Day 0: ✔️ Provision infrastructure ✔️ Deploy services But Day 1 and beyond? Updates Scaling Drift Troubleshooting That’s where complexity — and cost — take over. And it only gets worse in multi-vendor, disaggregated environments. The real problem isn’t deployment. It’s lifecycle management. How are you handling Day-2 operations today?

Ubicity continues to help drive adoption of TOSCA.
Excited to see the TOSCA Community continuing to gain real traction! In our meeting earlier today, we had participants joining from 8 different countries—great to see such strong global engagement and collaboration. If you’d like to follow along or get involved: • Track progress: https://lnkd.in/gsaiQp4 • Join the conversation on Discord: https://lnkd.in/gyzPWaMw If you’re interested in joining our weekly meetings, feel free to reach out to me directly—I’d be happy to send you an invite. Looking forward to building this together! #TOSCA #CloudNative #OpenSource #DevOps #Standards #OASIS #Collaboration #CloudComputing
