Jaspr is an open-source web framework designed to allow developers to build fast, SEO-friendly, and dynamic websites using the Dart language. It provides a familiar Flutter-like development experience, enabling teams to leverage their existing skills to create high-performance web applications natively in Dart. The Flutter and Dart teams have recently adopted this framework by migrating their official websites, including dart.dev and flutter.dev, to Jaspr. This transition to a unified Dart stack has simplified internal infrastructure and significantly lowered the barrier for community contributions. Learn more: https://goo.gle/4tbqvUu For those interested in the technical details, the creator of Jaspr, Kilian Schulte, has shared a deep dive into the framework's architecture and partial hydration capabilities on the Google Open Source blog: https://lnkd.in/gcjVk3gV

It’s amazing to see how agentic development is changing the game. Flutter’s declarative UI and excellent desktop support make it the perfect companion for AI agents 🎯
I built a desktop guitar scale visualizer with Flutter and didn't write a single line of code. I wanted a tool to practice scales across different tunings and overlay multiple scales on top of each other to see how they relate, so I built one. The whole thing was built using Claude Code and the Superpowers agentic skills framework. I described what I wanted — a fretboard that supports any tuning, any scale, with the ability to layer two scales and toggle between note names, intervals, and degrees — and it just... built it. It runs natively on macOS as a Flutter desktop app. Custom fretboard rendering, audio playback when you tap notes, dark mode, the works. https://lnkd.in/gMHJ2FtG https://lnkd.in/gqNtgkyk What a time to be building things.

❗Our first major milestone in decoupling Material and Cupertino: As of April 7th, contributions to these libraries in the flutter/flutter repo are officially frozen. Next stop: re-releasing them as material_ui and cupertino_ui packages on pub.dev. What does this mean for your PRs? Once the new packages are released, further development will resume in the flutter/packages repository. Read the full details in the blog: https://goo.gle/4camSad
