We’ve launched NVIDIA Open Agent Safety Platform to help people control what AI agents can access and do. Agents can write code, use tools, and work on complex tasks for hours or days. That work requires access to data and systems, along with clear limits on how they’re used. NVIDIA OpenShell enforces permissions around the agent’s work. BlueField-4 and DOCA add independent monitoring and security controls in the infrastructure, outside the agent’s reach. Vera CPUs power the work itself. Together, these technologies give teams a foundation for putting agents to work with defined permissions, oversight, and protection. Explore the platform: https://nvda.ws/4hj9PqU
About us
Since its founding in 1993, NVIDIA (NASDAQ: NVDA) has been a pioneer in accelerated computing. The company’s invention of the GPU in 1999 sparked the growth of the PC gaming market, redefined computer graphics, ignited the era of modern AI and is fueling the creation of the metaverse. AI agents are taking on more critical work. The security behind them needs stronger boundaries. We’re building the NVIDIA Open Agent Safety Platform with partners across the industry to help people put agents to work with greater confidence. Read the news from our CEO Jensen Huang:
Today, with over 100 industry partners, we introduced the NVIDIA Open Agent Safety Platform, bringing together OpenShell and Sentry. Artificial intelligence is extraordinary technology that will advance discovery, productivity, security, health, and prosperity for generations to come. But its full promise can only be realized when people have confidence that AI is being built to be safe and deployed with wisdom and responsibility. NVIDIA Open Agent Safety Platform Reference Design combines NVIDIA OpenShell and NVIDIA Sentry. OpenShell is an open-source secure runtime that gives AI agents clear, enforceable boundaries. It traces their actions and enforces policy as they work. NVIDIA Sentry delivers added layer of security with hardware-based enforcement on NVIDIA BlueField, continuously monitoring agent activity through a trusted telemetry and detection pipeline and enabling millisecond-scale containment and quarantine. This is bigger than a single product. It's the beginning of an open ecosystem to build the trust layer for safe agent systems. Together, we are building the foundation of the AI economy. Trust and innovation are not in conflict. Safety is how trust is earned. We must build not only the most capable AI, but the most trusted AI, so that this extraordinary technology can realize its enormous promise for the world. https://nvda.ws/4hOkDx7

Ten years ago at NVIDIA GTC 2016, Jensen Huang introduced DGX-1, our first AI supercomputer. Since then, NVIDIA DGX has transformed from a single system into a blueprint for AI factories. What hasn’t changed is the reason why we build DGX: to test the systems and work through the details of interconnects, cooling, and software so our partners and customers have a proven foundation to build on. Charlie Boyle, our VP of DGX Systems, looks back at how DGX got its start, what’s changed, and what comes next. Thanks to everyone who’s been on this journey with us. #DecadeOfDGX

Research shared today can help scientists prepare for potential outbreaks. We’ve worked with Google DeepMind, European Bioinformatics Institute | EMBL-EBI, and research partners worldwide to make AI-predicted protein complex structures for more than 2,800 viruses openly available through the AlphaFold Database. These predictions give researchers a starting point for studying viral proteins and identifying potential targets for vaccines and treatments. Read the story: https://lnkd.in/gsuyJNzP

Enterprises should own their intelligence. That means bringing AI to their sensitive data while protecting both business data and proprietary models. NVIDIA’s VP of Enterprise AI Justin Boitano and VAST Data CEO Renen Hallak discuss how NVIDIA Confidential Computing makes this possible.

At Climate Week NYC, NVIDIA is highlighting five companies using AI to address barriers across the energy ecosystem: • ThinkLabs AI is using digital twins and agents to accelerate grid interconnection reviews. • Atomic Canyon is bringing AI-powered knowledge management to nuclear operations. • Redwood Materials is repurposing EV batteries to create flexible power systems for AI factories. • TerraPower is developing digital twins to accelerate the delivery of advanced nuclear plants. • Commonwealth Fusion Systems is compressing years of fusion experimentation into weeks. Using NVIDIA AI, accelerated computing and simulation, these innovators are helping move clean energy breakthroughs from research to reality — and build a lower-carbon grid. AI should work for people in the languages they use every day. NVIDIA is proud to join this global coalition, led by the Gates Foundation, to make AI accessible in more of the world’s languages. Together, we’ll expand access to open models, datasets, and tools, helping an estimated 3.4 billion people use and shape AI in the language they know best.
CEO of the Gates Foundation. Working to ensure everyone can live a healthy life & reach their full potential. Father, husband, optimist.
Artificial intelligence (AI) only serves a fraction of the 7,000 languages spoken globally. It needs to work well enough to be useful for people, no matter what language they speak. Today, I’m pleased to announce that more than 50 organizations across technology, research, philanthropy, government, and civil society have come together around a shared goal: for the 3.4 billion people who speak underrepresented languages to be able to use AI tools in their own language and voice within the next five years. Closing this significant access gap requires collaboration—no one organization can do this alone. But together, we can invest in a public good that is truly public and provides more people around the world with access to information and services that save and improve lives. Congrats to Einride on taking autonomous trucking beyond controlled routes and onto highways and suburban roads. 🚛 Einride designs, builds, and operates the autonomous driving system. NVIDIA Hyperion provides the computing and sensor foundation, while NVIDIA Cosmos helps the team find rare situations in real-world footage and recreate them digitally for training and testing — reinforcing a safety-first approach. Einride’s freight network already serves shippers in the U.S., Europe, and the Middle East, giving the company an existing network to build on as its autonomous trucking work expands.
⚡ Today we announced a strategic collaboration with NVIDIA to further accelerate Einride's development of highway and suburban autonomous trucking. This collaboration is intended to accelerate development and support capital efficient scale of autonomous capacity across Einride’s freight network. 🧠 The next generation of Einride Driver, built on NVIDIA Hyperion, which we are adapting together with NVIDIA for heavy-duty freight 🛡️ NVIDIA Cosmos in our AI development workflow, to curate complex edge cases from camera data and add synthetic scenarios for training and validation 🚛 A foundation that plugs into a freight network already serving customers, not a research programme starting from zero Read the full release: https://lnkd.in/duq-pQPF

Air pollution contributes to tens of thousands of deaths in the UK each year, and standard chemistry-based climate models are often too slow and costly to inform immediate public health decisions. To solve this, The University of Manchester researchers applied NVIDIA Earth-2 AI models to air quality forecasting. Using the UK’s Isambard-AI supercomputer, the team trained a high-resolution, nationwide model in just two days — and can now run inference locally on an NVIDIA DGX Spark desktop system. This open workflow can provide healthcare systems develop proactive, location-specific warnings to vulnerable patients.
