Jazz Legend Charles Lloyd plays his Wild Man Dance Suite in it's entirety. Fabulous stuff that is very highly recommended! The music was presented as one long piece. I downloaded it from BigO and they split the tracks to make it easier to download from their sight.
BigO Said:
Wild Man Dance Suite is a sweeping new masterpiece from Charles Lloyd. Blending traditional jazz elements with visceral sounds and textures from antiquity, Lloyd has created something altogether new and exciting. Composed for a quartet of piano, bass, and drums, with the addition of Greek lyra and the Hungarian gypsy cimbalom, the ensemble performs the six movements of the suite like a flowing orchestral unit. - metmuseum.org
Charles Lloyd turned 80 on March 15.

I don't suppose you could re-up this? I'd really appreciate it. Thanks for all you do
ReplyDeleteSure John I'll get that for you today. The MP3 post of the 2000 show, I meant to delete it when I posted the flac upgrade. Thanks for pointing that out for me!

Thanks for the re-up!
ReplyDeleteYou're very welcome John! I have been reposting things since filefactory lost all my files so I figured why not take requests. This is a great show too, wish it was lossless but at least we have it!
