After 24 years in the Navy—flying medevac helicopters in Iraq, leading combat missions against ISIS, al-Qaeda, and the Taliban, and later helping lead NASA—I know what real service looks like. It’s courage, sacrifice, and putting the mission, and the people, first. I’m running for Congress because Florida deserves leaders who put people ahead of politics, lower costs, and deliver results—not politicians who are only in it for themselves.
One of four raised in a hardworking Central Florida family, Bale graduated at the top of his class and was selected to attend the U.S. Naval Academy. He served in the U.S. Navy and Navy Reserve for 24 years, 13 years on active duty, with deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, the Horn of Africa, and the Pacific. As a Navy helicopter pilot, Bale flew medical evacuation missions in Kuwait, delivered relief after Hurricane Katrina, supported special operations in Iraq and Africa, and directed combat air support in Afghanistan. Wherever American families needed protection, Bale was there.
After active duty, he worked at the State Department and for Senator Bill Nelson in Congress.
Bale returned to active duty as commanding officer of the Navy’s special operations support squadron, then used his military background to improve efficiency and operations at an aerospace company in the private sector. As NASA Chief of Staff, he managed 16,500 employees and helped run one of the federal government’s most effective agencies.
After a lifetime of service, Bale Dalton is fed up with politicians who have turned their back on American families and put themselves ahead of the people they serve. Bale brings integrity, rational decision-making, and a true commitment to serving the American people that is needed to move our country forward.
