Beginning of this week, senior business leaders, academics, policymakers and labour-market experts met at the Financial Times Headquarters in London to discuss how to build a workforce around people and AI. Listen to our CEO Denis Machuel for his key takeaways from the event: ➖ We all need to ensure that AI happens with people, not to people ➖Leaders need to recognize the shift: “Hybrid work” once described where work happened. It now describes how the work gets done: a collaboration between people, agents, automation or humanoid robots. ➖The key to success is taking our people along with us on the journey. This isn't just the right thing to do. It's how to create value at scale. At the Adecco Group, we believe the future of work will be shaped by how effectively we combine human potential with technology. Getting that balance right is a responsibility we all share. Thank you to our great guests that joined us in thought-provoking discussions. Thank you to the Financial Times for bringing us together, to Isabel Berwick for moderating the discussion and to our panelists, Brian Holliday and Anna Thomas MBE, for sharing their perspectives on the opportunities and challenges ahead. Participants explored how workforces can be redesigned responsibly, who should lead that transformation and what decisions organisations need to make to prepare for the next phase of AI adoption. If you want to learn more about how your organization can redesign workforce transformation, reach out to our TAG Advisory teams.

Building a workforce around people and AI. The future of work is about more than adopting AI. It means rethinking how we work, developing the skills people need and ensuring technology creates value for businesses and people alike. This was the focus of the Financial Times Live executive briefing, where Denis Machuel joined a panel moderated by Isabel Berwick, alongside fellow panellists Anna Thomas MBE and Brian Holliday, to discuss how we can shape a future of work that puts people at the heart of technological progress. A few themes stood out: 1️⃣ Redesign work to create human value, not simply putting AI on existing processes. 2️⃣ Build skills to help more people work alongside AI. 3️⃣ AI should make human more human 4️⃣ Trust and good leadership are vital for AI transformation to be effective At the Adecco Group, we see the future of work as a partnership between people and technology. Real progress means helping organizations navigate this transformation while enabling people to develop their skills, unlock their potential and access new opportunities. Businesses are moving beyond technology adoption and towards a redesigning of roles and workflows. At the heart of this shift is hybrid human-AI workforce orchestration. That’s how we make the future work for everyone. Read Isabel Berwick’s latest version of the Financial Times Working It newsletter in the first comment.

This World Mental Health Day, we’re reminded that wellbeing is shaped by the small actions we take every day, for ourselves and for one another. A conversation. A moment to recharge. Checking in with a colleague. Reaching out for support. Small actions can strengthen resilience, build connection and help us navigate change. Wellbeing is a shared responsibility. By looking after ourselves and supporting those around us, we can help create workplaces where people feel seen, supported and able to thrive. Choose one action today that supports your wellbeing or helps someone else navigate change. Small actions can strengthen resilience, connection and wellbeing. #WorldMentalHealthDay #EveryActCounts #EveryMindMatters

#ESAdecco
