Images, and why the non-free route is closed
[edit]The logo goes to Wikimedia Commons under CC BY-SA 4.0, uploaded by Plot as the copyright holder. Then the article uses the Commons file. Wikipédia:Conflito de interesses explicitly encourages a connected party to upload its own media under a free licence, and states that reduced resolution is acceptable.
The non-free fair-use route is closed, and this is a real interaction the brief did not anticipate. WP:NFCC criterion 1 permits non-free content only where no free equivalent exists or could be created. Once Plot licenses its own logo on Commons, a free equivalent exists, and the non-free option is correctly gone. The two plans cannot both run for the same image. Commons is the better outcome. Recorded as Q19.
Two consequences to hold on to:
- WP:NFCC criterion 9 bars non-free content from drafts in any case. Uploaded before acceptance, a non-free file sits in no article and becomes deletable after seven days under speedy criterion F5. So even where a non-free rationale is the right route, the upload happens after acceptance, never before.
- A Commons upload is irrevocable. Only upload assets Plot owns outright. That is fine for the Plot Kids logo and is not fine for Bubu or Witch and Prince, both CHECK CONTRACT.
image-manifest.md carries the file names, licences and the upload order.
The conflict-of-interest disclosure

Do not use {{Aviso-conflito de interesses}}. It exists, but it is a warning template for a user’s talk page, so placing it yourself misrepresents what it is for.

Sobre as fontes: a página da ND Mais de 27 de maio de 2021 parece corresponder a uma reportagem sobre a empresa, mas o texto ou vídeo não está disponível para conferência e a página visível não identifica a Plot Kids. As demais referências verificam fatos específicos, como o fundo do Google Play e o prêmio no BIG Festival 2022; não são oferecidas como base de notoriedade.
That last paragraph is doing the work. Naming your own weakest point to a reviewer costs nothing, because the reviewer will find it in the first minute anyway, and it changes how the rest of the submission reads. It is also the difference between a COI editor who has read the guideline and one who has not.
