Vote for the Data Foundation in the 6th Annual Anthem Awards
Voting is open from October 13 - October 29, 2026. Three entries, three votes.
The Data Foundation is a finalist in three categories of the 6th Annual Anthem Awards, which recognize impactful brands, nonprofits, and individuals setting the standard for good worldwide.
Two entries spotlight the Center for Climate and Environmental Data (CCED) and Senior Director for CCED, Sonia Wang, for building cross-sector partnerships to improve the quality, accessibility, and usefulness of climate and environmental data. The third recognizes the Data Foundation's nonpartisan research and tools on federal data infrastructure, from the annual federal Chief Data Officer Survey to Evi, an AI assistant for searching federal evidence-building documents.
Judges from the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences will select the Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners. The public decides the Anthem Community Voice Awards, and that is where your vote counts.
1. Community Engagement, Sustainability, Environment & Climate (Nonprofit) Entry:
Building the Data Infrastructure Behind Climate and Environmental Decisions + Partnership or Collaboration
CCED convenes government, industry, academia, and civil society around climate data problems no single sector can solve alone. The center launched the Greenhouse Gas Coalition, now more than 80 members from more than 35 organizations, and has incubated and supported four other cross-sector initiatives.
2. Individual Recognition, Sustainability, Environment & Climate (Nonprofit) Entry:
Building the Data Infrastructure Behind Climate and Environmental Decisions + Nonprofit Leader
Sonia Wang leads CCED's work serving as a nonpartisan knowledge broker, helping ensure decisionmakers can ground their decisions in climate and environmental data that is timely and fit for purpose. In 2026, she led the transition of the Climate Data Collaborative into CCED.
3. Content & Media, Technology (Nonprofit) Entry:
The Data Foundation – America's Nonpartisan Standard for Public Data Infrastructure + Excellence in Data in Technology
Across program centers, the Data Foundation documents how federal data is governed and used. Its work includes six annual federal CDO Surveys with Deloitte, the People's Data 100 ranking of high-value public datasets, and the Evidence Act Hub and Evi.
On each category page, scroll down until you find the Data Foundation's entry, then click "celebrate." On the Anthem Awards site, celebrating an entry is how you vote. You can celebrate one entry per category, so repeat the steps for all three categories.
