𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗮 𝘄𝗿𝗮𝗽 𝗼𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲! 🚆 What an intense, high-speed week in Berlin. Between great customer conversations, catching up with global colleagues, and exploring what’s next for rail, one message stood out loud and clear: rail is under pressure to deliver more capacity and reliability, but the answer isn’t just laying more tracks. We need to get more out of existing infrastructure—and that’s where data and practical AI become real game-changers. At the Siemens Mobility booth, we showcased how our software portfolio is turning this into reality: 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: Conversational travel assistants and multilingual AI chatbot kiosks (powered by our real-time intermodal planner, HAFAS.engine) making public transport simpler and more accessible. 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗢𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: AI-enhanced intelligent dispatching with TPS.live, which learns from dispatcher decisions to continuously improve recommendations and minimize disruptions. We were also proud to showcase our ongoing research at the Europe's Rail Joint Undertaking booth, where our R&D teams highlighted 𝗙𝗣𝟭 𝗠𝗢𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟 (cross-border traffic management and advanced multimodal journey planning) and 𝗙𝗣𝟲 𝗙𝗨𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 (regional passenger information systems featuring real-time occupancy and accessibility profiles).
