We are looking forward to being a part of the Defence TechDay Erding tomorrow where more than 1,300 have already signed up. Come by our stand indoors to find out how SE3 Labs' Spatial AI enables systems to act autonomously in the physical world.
Info
SE3 builds next-generation spatial AI for unmanned systems. SE3’s core technology combines advanced sensor fusion with semantic understanding to create a real-time 3D common operating picture. This foundation enables precise geolocation, target-grade coordinate generation for sensor-to-shooter chains, GNSS-denied swarming, and intuitive language-based interaction with complex spatial data. Advancing defence through spatial intelligence, SE3 strengthens Europe’s technological sovereignty.

Last week our co-founder and CEO Lukas Koestler joined Stuart Skeates, Lieutenant Colonel Chris Billups MBE, Volodymyr “Colt”, Bryan Grubert, MBA, and Iryna Terekh for a panel discussion on deep precision effects at Apex Europe. Lukas highlighted that GNSS-denied navigation is a key capability for deep precision strike, including at night and at low altitudes. The panel also discussed how software updates across different platforms, enabled by a Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA), can support the continuous increase of stockpiles while keeping systems up to date.

At Bits & Pretzels last week, our co-founder and CEO Lukas Koestler joined Ralf Gulde, Milan Allan and Philipp Gerbert for a panel discussion on physical AI. He also sat down with Feliks Eyser for a live recording of Founder Mode. We also joined the Defence Alliance’s Founding Circle. Under the patronage of Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy, the alliance brings together startups, industry, investors, researchers and military users. Thank you to Lippold von Oldershausen, Arne Eilers and the Defence Alliance team for bringing this group together, and to our fellow panellists and Feliks Eyser for the conversations.

Battlefield 3D setzt genau dort an.

𝗔 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴. One that doesn't just understand language, but the physical world. Over the past years, advances in AI have transformed how machines process information. Yet one of the hardest challenges remains unsolved: enabling autonomous systems to perceive, reason about and act within complex real-world environments. At SE3 Labs, we've been working on that challenge from day one. Today, we're sharing more about the technology, the team and the mission behind SE3 Labs at Handelsblatt, Sifted and der-spiegel: building the Spatial AI layer for the next generation of autonomous systems. Our technology transforms raw sensor data into a continuously evolving 3D understanding of the environment, enabling autonomous systems to navigate without GPS, understand complex terrain and coordinate across aerial and ground platforms in real time. We believe that spatial understanding will become a foundational capability for the next generation of autonomous systems, just as language understanding became foundational for today's AI systems. Thank you to Nadine Schimroszik, Martin Hesse and Anne Sraders for the insightful discussion about Spatial AI, autonomy and the future of intelligent systems. This is just the beginning. We are proud to announce our Memorandum of Understanding with ERC System - a strategic partnership at the intersection of advanced autonomy software and hybrid-electric aviation platforms. ERC develops hybrid-electric eVTOL platforms for demanding commercial and defense missions. We contribute the AI autonomy layer: onboard intelligence that enables systems to plan, navigate, and decide independently, even in degraded environments. Our technical collaboration will focus on autonomous mission planning and navigation in GNSS-denied environments, intelligent landing site detection, swarming and teaming concepts, and the development of future intelligent eVTOL and UAV platforms capable of understanding and adapting to their environment. Together, we are working to make truly autonomous, mission-capable unmanned systems a reality. #AutonomousSystems #DefenseTech #eVTOL #Autonomy
