Across his two spells with Kuban, he made 90 league appearances and scored 12 goals.[2]

In January 2009, he returned to Bulgaria and signed with Litex Lovech. In his first year back at the club, he won the Bulgarian Cup, and in the 2009–10 and 2010–11 seasons, he won consecutive league titles. Litex also won the Bulgarian Super Cup in 2010.
