Your account has been indefinitely blocked from editing because it appears you intend to use it for advertising or promotion, which is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia. Also, your username gives the impression that the account represents a business, organisation, group, website, or role, which is against the username policy.

If you intend to make useful contributions instead of promoting a business or organization, you may request unblock and a username change. In your reasons, you must follow all these steps:

  1. Disclose any compensation you may receive for your contributions in accordance with the paid-contribution disclosure requirement; and
  2. Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the kind of edits for which you were blocked; and
  3. Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked; and
  4. Provide a new username.

To do this, insert the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with your new username and replace the text "Your reason here" with your reasons to be unblocked. If you are having trouble, you may want to try using the unblock wizard.

Before requesting a new username, check if it is still available. If the search says "There is no global account for [username]", the username is free to use.

Appeals: If, after reviewing the guide to appealing blocks, you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal it by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the bottom of your talk page. Replace the text "Your reason here" with the reasons you believe the block was an error, and publish the edit. Mfield (Oi!) 17:15, 13 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
I have blocked your account as you mention that you are creating a page for a client, and have not formally disclosed your connections. You will need to address all the points in the above block message via an unblock request. Mfield (Oi!) 17:17, 13 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

This user's request to be unblocked to request a change in username has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without a good reason (see the blocking policy). Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Requested username:

Request reason:

I understand the reason for the block. I created the username MAjorDesigns without realizing that an organization-only username violates Wikipedia's username policy, and I will use an individual username going forward.
I also want to fully disclose my paid relationship before making any contributions related to my client. I am Stefan Hartman, owner of MAjor Designs. Gallon Historical Art is a client of mine, and I am compensated for web development and other digital services. I am assisting Gallon Historical Art with research for a proposed Wikipedia article about artist Dale Gallon.
I understand that this creates a paid conflict of interest and that promotional editing is not permitted. If unblocked, I will disclose MAjor Designs as my employer/business and Gallon Historical Art as my client on my user page before making any related contributions.
My intended contributions are to prepare a neutral, reliably sourced draft about Dale Gallon in Draft space and submit it through the Articles for Creation process for independent review. I will not directly publish the article into mainspace or use Wikipedia to advertise Gallon Historical Art. For future changes involving this client, I will follow the conflict-of-interest guidance and use Talk-page edit requests where appropriate.
My proposed new username is StefanHartman. MAjorDesigns (talk) 20:56, 13 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I am assuming that you made the below statement(you need to stay logged in to this username until it is changed). Our experience is that new editors diving right in to making edits related to their COI almost never succeed. Most companies on Earth are not notable, and most company representatives fail in their efforts to write about them; we're not talking 51%, more like 85-90%- because they just cannot write as Wikipedia asks, they need to get experience doing so first. Wikipedia writing is very different than other forms of writing. Is it possible you are one of the very small minority of people who can successfully edit about their COI right away? Possibly, but the odds are heavily against it. Since you have no interest in editing about anything other than your organization, there are no grounds to remove the block. 331dot (talk) 09:28, 15 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

Please see WP:PAIDADVICE; you are very unlikely to succeed at this, especially as a new user without prior Wikipedia editing experience. Writing a new article is the most difficult thing to do here, and it's even harder with a conflict of interest. Is there anything else you want to edit about for which you have no conflict of interest? 331dot (talk) 08:47, 14 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

At this time, I do not have specific unrelated topics that I intend to edit. I created the account primarily for the proposed Dale Gallon draft, and I do not want to make artificial or unnecessary edits simply to build an edit history.
I understand that I am a new editor and that writing a new article is difficult, particularly with a conflict of interest. My intention is to fully disclose my paid relationship, work only in Draft space, rely primarily on independent reliable sources, and submit the draft through Articles for Creation for review by uninvolved editors rather than publishing it directly.
I am willing to follow any specific procedural guidance you recommend for handling the draft correctly, but I do not want to make unrelated edits solely for the purpose of appearing more established. ~2026-49960-83 (talk) 00:39, 15 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
