ArbCom 2025 Elections voter message

[edit]
Image

Hello! Voting in the 2025 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 1 December 2025. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2025 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:33, 18 November 2025 (UTC)Reply

You may be eligible to vote in the U4C election

[edit]

I am contacting you because you previously voted in elections related to the Universal Code of Conduct Coordinating Committee (U4C). You may be eligible to vote in the current U4C election, which is open now and closes on 2 June 2026. You can find out more about the candidates and the election on the election page on Meta, and from there you can access the vote itself. Your participation in these elections is important to the governance of Wikimedia communities, and your time spent learning about the candidates and voting is appreciated.

Wikipedia is a trailing indicator

[edit]

If I understand what you've been going after on the Jason Arday page, you seem to be trying to imply that there was some sort of conspiracy or irregularity in the hiring decisions around Arday. The thing is that Wikipedia is never going to assert that based on primary sources nor is an article talk page the right place to speculate about such things. I'd suggest dropping it until such time as actual reliable secondary sources have something to say. Simonm223 (talk) 16:54, 16 September 2026 (UTC)Reply

May be you are not well versed at mind-reading. But feel free to ask another question. Pldx1 (talk) 19:28, 16 September 2026 (UTC)Reply
