Fails WP:BASIC, WP:ANYBIO, WP:CREATIVE. Unable to locate any significant biographical details in secondary sources. No notable awards. Magnolia677 (talk) 18:06, 25 September 2026 (UTC)reply

Since then I have added Exclaim!, 2 June 2010, byline Del F. Cowie, reporting the 2010 Stylus DJ Awards and naming the subject as winner of Club Dance DJ of the Year in the same list as Drake and Boi-1da. That is independent, secondary, has editorial oversight, and is archived. I accept it establishes an award rather than a biography, and that whether the Stylus DJ Awards meet "well-known and significant" under WP:ANYBIO is a judgement others are better placed to make than I am.

I have searched for further coverage without success: Broadcast Dialogue, the Toronto dailies, and archived runs of Eye Weekly and ChartAttack all return nothing. If that remains the position then deletion is the right outcome and I will not argue otherwise. KnowledgeMaple (talk) 18:13, 25 September 2026 (UTC)reply

  • Redirect to CIDC-FM. I conducted a search myself and came to the same conclusion as the person who wrote the article. The only independent evidence is the report by Exclaim!, which mentions the subject in a list of winners rather than being about him, so WP:GNG isn't satisfied. It is questionable whether the Stylus DJ Awards are "well-known and significant" under WP:ANYBIO, as I can find no article on them. Everything else I located consists of discography listings at AllMusic and Discogs, videos on YouTube, the station's own pages, and a Last.fm biography written in promotional language that reads as station-supplied. I would rather redirect to the station than delete the article altogether, given that he has co-hosted a programme there for many years and appears on its compilation releases. Special thanks to the creator for the comment above: setting out what the previous version relied on, what the new source does and does not establish, and where research yielded no results is the way to go. • Redirect to CIDC-FM as an WP:ATD. Among the three sources, two are too brief and another is a podcast with him. Kelob2678 (talk) 19:26, 2 October 2026 (UTC)reply
