Proposed article for Brabham BT33
[edit]I have prepared an article for the Brabham BT33 F1 car. I think this car is notable as (a) being the first F1 monocoque designed by Ron Tauranac, and (b) the car with which Jack Brabham won his last World Championship Grand Prix. Halmyre (talk) 22:02, 29 September 2026 (UTC)
- @Halmyre: I think any race-winning F1 car is inherently notable. Your draft looks fine to me. I would have no objection to you creating the article with those contents. DH85868993 (talk) 11:42, 30 September 2026 (UTC)
Declared paid contributor seeking process guidance at Talk:Carmen Jordá
[edit]Hello.
I'm a declared paid contributor for Carmen Jorda (full disclosure on my user page).
A week ago I posted a question on Talk:Carmen Jordá asking how editors would prefer to receive sourced edit requests mostly factual corrections, plus her current role at the Alpine F1 Academy but the page has few watchers and there has been no reply. If anyone from this project could take a look, or advise on the preferred format, I'd appreciate it. I'm not editing the article myself. HBswriter (talk) 14:43, 9 October 2026 (UTC)
- WP:PAID does not bar you from making edits yourself, so long as they are disclosed and in line with all other Wikipedia policies. You may also submit an edit request per WP:MAKINGEREQ, but do keep in mind that Wikipedia is run on a voluntary basis—nobody will put themselves under a particular obligation to review your requests. To make your edits the most likely to be submitted and/or kept, keep in mind WP:SOURCE and WP:EXHAUSTIVE, notably WP:NOTBOAST. Ved havet 🌊 (talk) 19:39, 9 October 2026 (UTC)
- Thank you, that's helpful. I'll stick to edit requests and stay out of the article myself, as committed on my user page. And understood on the promotional point: the list is factual corrections with independent sources, plus her current role, which the article covers in one sentence. I'll post it on the article talk page. Thanks again! HBswriter (talk) 10:10, 13 October 2026 (UTC)
