How do Italians think about savings, inflation and Bitcoin? 🇮🇹 Our latest survey with Selvitys, conducted among 2,000 Italians aged 18-64, reveals a striking gap between perceived and actual purchasing power. 85% underestimate the impact of inflation since 2020. At the same time, 10% of Italians already own Bitcoin, and for 35% of them, it was the first investment they ever made. The findings also point to a generational shift: 45% of under-35s believe Bitcoin can play a useful role in preparing for retirement. Swipe through for the key findings.

From Paris to Y Combinator, and back with lessons to share. On Wednesday, our co-founder Kabir Sethi joined Founder Stories hosted by STATION F × Pioneers The conversation explored the early decisions behind building a company. For Kabir, that journey included joining YC’s summer 2022 batch while Bitcoin was in a sharp downturn, a challenging context in which to build a Bitcoin savings app. An opportunity to revisit Bitstack’s beginnings and share that experience with founders preparing for their own next chapter.
