I would like to see this available as well. My Nix skills aren't good enough yet, maybe later.

Is there a way to build this? I would try but I can't find any instructions on how to do it and I'm very new to nix and NixOS

No, not yet. Someone will have to build the package with Nix then we can install it. - Spencer

As 10.7 is out, I imagine that this may reinvigorate interest... this is the first time in a while I've seen it mentioned.
